Puppies

The other day at work I looked out the front door and saw this

I wonder what's so interesting over there? Let's take a closer look.
Everyone was stopping to take a look at the puppies he had in the back of his truck. I don't know how many he started out with but by the time he left he only had one. I felt kind of sorry for that poor little puppy being the only one who couldn't find a forever home. All of the puppies look happy and healthy and even the people coming in said the same. I did see one couple leave with two of them. The only concern I have is whether or not these puppies went to good loving homes. I will say that the guy who was giving them away sure did seem to care about them

Interesting! I guess he is not a breeder, just that his dog had too many pups maybe.

Fingers crossed for the one who didn't get adopted. If the fellow cared about the pups the one left behind will probably be fine.

I hope they all got good homes, too. At least the guy didnt sit them beside a busy highway in a box, which is where our grandfurbaby came from.

Not sure how I feel about this because you have no insight as to where those animals are going.

I had to re-home some fish this year and I took that responsibility very seriously. And they are "just" fish! Still...I felt responsible for their lives and I did a lot of research into where they were going, what the pond set-up was like, who was adopting them, etc. Yes, it look a lot of effort, but at least I felt like I wasn't sending them to a bad situation.

I thought for sure you were going to say you got one of those puppies!

I hope they all went to good homes. I would have taken the last one though. Puppies are so precious.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Giving animals away like that is illegal here in TN. Most folks sell on FB. But when giving kittens or cats away people at least ask 25 bucks. The thought is that if they pay money for a cat then they are not getting it to use as bait for dog fights. Scary the things people do.
