Working on gifts part 1

Last year when I was talking to the deli manager one day about Christmas gifts I had mentioned that I should make her a soup cookbook. Her response was oh I would love that. Well procrastinator that I am, I never got around to making it. Luckily for me I didn't forget about it. Monday I started working on it. I went to Pinterest and found my soup board and then started printing out recipes. I think I may even add a section for casseroles and possibly one for sandwiches

I would like that too. I love comfort foods and soup and casseroles are perfect for that.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

This is such a wonderful idea, Ann. I'm doing something similar this year, for both my daughters & my daughter-in-law. I'm typing out all the recipes our family has used over the years. I want the girls to have it for that inevitable "some day" when I'm not around anymore, so the traditions can continue. ~Andrea xoxo

I like PINTEREST for recipes but I like having them printed off better. However, mine never make it to book form.

Ginny, thanks, and pretty easy too

CheerfulMonk, thanks

Anni, the hardest part is finding the recipes I want to print

Ella, no not publishing. Will just put the recipes in a binder and give it to her

Grace, there have been several recipes she's used and then later wondered where they went. This way they'll be in one place

Lin, thanks

Sandee, I like quick and simple recipes. so a book of all that would be great.

Cynthia, this will work all year for her because she can use the recipes at work in the deli

Andrea, my husbands step mom did something like that several years back. She had everyone in the family including in laws contribute 2 or 3 recipes.

Pam. I like Pinterest too but I always have to go back and try and find the ones I pinned. My Pinterest boards are a mess.
