Or maybe you think of an acrobat?
Well I'm betting the last thing you think of is me.
Last Friday that's exactly what I was. Not only did I fall while at work, but I did it in front of witnesses. One of the people who saw me fall asked if I was alright and I said yes, nothing hurt but my pride but I'm old so I'm probably going to feel it tomorrow. Once it was established that I was not hurt all of us had a good laugh for the rest of the day. If nothing else, I'm good at being able to laugh at myself. The oddest part of all of this was that when I got home from work, not only did I clean my house but I put up my Christmas tree as well. I said to Gibbs "darn maybe I should fall every Friday at work."

What a blessing that you did not get hurt, I am so GLAD about that!! HOW did you fall?
Old?!! I don't think so!! You are still a spry young "chick" to fall, and bounce right back up and decorate more for the holidays. What worries me is you talking to Gibbs. (Just kidding)
1st of all. YOU can't be OLD because that would make me ancient...2nd I am so glad you are not hurt and the first question I thought was the same as Ginny's. HOW did you fall? we all want to know. 3rd This is a beautiful selfie and the best you have ever taken... LOVE IT...
I have fallen a few times in the past and like you say its the embarrassment that is the worst. Even if my leg was hanging of I would have said I was okay and shuffled off, lol
I absolutely dread falling now at my age in case I break my hip or something.
Hope you aren't too stiff today.

I'm so thankful you didn't get hurt Ann and I'm shocked you went home and did all of that after falling! I hope you aren't feeling it today.
Thanks for the chuckle. I didn't chuckle until I found out you were alright. It's bad enough when you fall down while you're alone, but with witnesses it's quite embarrassing.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and an extra treat for Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Good on you for laughing at yourself and it's really good to know that you didn't suffer an injury. Too funny about the housecleaning afterwards, lol.
How did you fall?
Thank goodness you are doing well!
~ Be safe and well ~
Oh dear Ann ~ I am so glad you are ok. I bet you are enjoying your tree set up. I'm interested in knowing also how you fell. I catch myself off and on. Sometimes it's my balance, other times, it's tripping over something or stepping the wrong way. I have to tell myself to move slower and to pay attention. ;-) Enjoy your Christmas holidays ~ FlowerLady
I also want to know why you fell. Falling is scary.
I'm glad you are okay, but that is sure scary! Be sure to report it just in case you have something pop up later. (My husband is in work comp....can you tell?)
Hope you aren't too sore today.
I am so glad you were not hurt...wondering if you were sore the next day. I hope not.
Falling is the #1 scary thing when you get older - not that YOU'RE there yet but still - falling is never a good thing (not even falling in love unfortunately). But that photo - Looking good, lady!
No you should not! Falling is not a habit we need to "fall" into, LOL.
I am delighted to hear that you are okay . . . I hope you don't have black and blue marks in a few days.
Take care, sweet friend,
Connie :)
I'm so glad you weren't hurt... falls can be scary. Take care, we love you! ❤️💕
Ug! Glad you are ok! Last time I took a fall it was over the curb into the street face first! I was pretty scraped up but the next day was the worst! I felt like I was put through the ringer! Every inch of my body hurt!!
NO, NO, NO....do not make it a habit of taking those types of falls. But you did not state how you felt the next day! Hope it was not bad. The older we old folks get the worse those falls can be.
So very sorry. It is always good when we can laugh at ourselves, I have fallen twice in my yard, tripped over tree roots, first thing I did was look to see if the neighbors saw me!
