Actually, I've done a couple things lately that have been all about ME. I decided that this year I would buy myself Christmas gifts, wrap them, and put them under the tree so Gibbs and I can open presents on Christmas morning. Silly yes but who cares. I already have a couple things ready. I purchased two things recently that I didn't really need so I decided I would save them to give myself for Christmas. I just realized as I was typing this that I'll have a post for after Christmas to show all the gifts I got myself.
Any way, yesterday I was on Amazon. I've been wanting a new fire tablet because my kindle is getting pretty old and my Samsung tablet bit the dust. I had gotten an email advertising a deal on the latest fire tablet so I went to check it out. With the deal they were offering, the cash back points I've earned using my Prime visa card and the $50 gift card I got from a sweet friend (thanks again) I made the purchase. I think I'll save this for a Christmas gift even though it's scheduled to arrive on Monday.
The other thing I did happened after I had that really BAD Friday at work. I've been wanting a computer for the room formerly known as the man cave. Wade's desk has sat empty and if I want to use my computer I have to go upstairs. Well, you guessed it. I purchased and all in one computer. I'm loving that room more and more all the time.
Here's my cozy little corner for hanging out on my computer.

this is a great idea but if it were me, i would have to use that kindle since i can't live without reading on it, you can use it and buy something else, you have two months to stack up presents.. your Ann Cave is looking fantastic and so cozy.. maybe a new cozy warm bed for gibbs for christmas. that desktop is what i ordered during the pandemic from WM and they said it would be here in 2 days, a day later i got the email said on back order for 3 weeks. i canceled and bought the one at Best Buy because i did not want to wait. i love my all in one and you will too.. beautiful desk. you need a sign that says Ann Cave
I would love to have a Rose Cave...but guess I have my sewing room and I am lucky to have that. But it does not have a comfy chair to just sit and relax in...and no room for one either.
I could not wait till Chrismtas for the new Amazon Fire...beside, what if something was wrong with it. (I always let that slow me down in buying gifts early for others)
Well done, you! I love your "cave"! I think your Christmas gift idea for yourself is excellent - I cannot remember the last time I had a gift to open for either my birthday or Christmas. ^^

Since my motto is "Instant gratification is not fast enough" I could never buy something and not immediately tear the wrappings off and use it LOL
That is a great idea about the Christmas presents! I got a Fire Tablet a few months ago and I love it! That is a cozy little room you have down there now!
