I'm heading home yesterday, I get to the stop sign and all I need to do is make a right and I'm the first house on the right. There is a road closed sign sitting there because they are working on resurfacing the road. The flag girl sees my turn signal and heads towards my car. I roll down my window and tell her that's my house right there. She says ok and lets me go through.
After letting Gibbs out I went out front and took a couple videos because why not? It's blog material right?

Was it stinky when they resurfaced, Ann? Usually the stuff they put on the road stinks to high heaven for awhile afterward. I remember years ago when they were resurfacing the road in front of our house-at-the-time, our son was just a little shaver and he was mesmerized by all the big trucks going up and down the street. I was disappointed when his entertainment was finished. :-) ~Andrea xoxoxo
I think it'sinteresting watching a road being resurfaced. I bet that asphalt really smelled!
I love to watch things out the window in the street and if that was in the front yard you can bet I would be out there taking pictures. I might remember when I took like to post worth of pictures of the men digging holes in our yard with the big diggers and the good news is you have a new road to drive on
Oh, the noise!! But, look!! A new road. Our city's roads...each and all, need to be resurfaced.
It does stink, but it's ever so wonderful to drive on.

New roads are always so nice to drive on. Did you take your video on your phone? If so, how did you get it to you-tube?
Enjoyed your videos, road works always capture my attention. We have a lot of it going on around there right now, mainly on the freeway adding extra lanes.
