So sweet

It's almost Valentine's Day. It's not necessarily one of my most favorite days. Being a single person on Valentines day is really the pits. Of course when Wade was still alive we never really did much of anything. There was always a card and maybe some candy.

The other day one of our regular customers was in the store. He's an older man. He asked if I was working alone and I said no, Kelly is on lunch right now. So he asks if it's just the two of us. I told him yes and he said he had something out in the car for us. He finished his shopping and then came back a while later with two of these.

I confess there are already a few less pieces in the box.

AWWWWWWWW!!!!!! Reading this brought tears to my eyes, Ann!! What a sweet sweet man!! He was probably alone now, in this life, and yet still wanted to share some love on Valentine's Day. How very very special!! I'm so glad you were the recipient of his kindness, my friend. ~Andrea xoxo

What a nice customer. Makes up for all the rude customers.

Have a fabulous day off tomorrow, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

How nice. I understand about the single Valentine day thing...in my case it was always one or the other since my bday is also that day.

That was so sweet of him! Customers like that make it more bearable to put up with the more common difficult ones.

Valentines day is about LOVE...and not necessarily all about romantic love. I always have a couple of small gifts at dinner on Valentines Day for everyone and now that the kids are grown...I send them packages. It's important to honor all love once a year...no matter if it is a friend, child, grandchild or maybe a co-worker. I'm glad you had a nice Valentine surprise this year!

How very sweet of this gentleman to give you these. He obviously appreciates you and Kelly very much. It's always a pleasure to go shopping when you are treated with a good nature and a smile.

Oh how deliciously sweet of him! It is nice to feel appreciated like that from your customers. If that box was at my house, it would be eaten already lol.
