Welcome to September. Where has this year gone? Before you know it there will be snow flying.
My crafting spree is still going. Of course on work days I don't have much energy to do anything once I get home, but my days off have been filled with crafting.
I have purchased so many craft items with the intentions of making certain projects. For one reason or another those projects never get done. Lately the majority of the crafting I've been doing has been using all those collected craft items that have been sitting.
This was an unfinished wood item that I bought last fall. I started to do something with it then never finished it. I finally got around to it. The back side is a solid pumpkin and between the front and back is a box. I chose to put some fall silk flowers in it. Instead of painting this I used some mod podge and scrapbook paper.

This is a simple yet effective art piece
Pretty and different! And unmistakeably Fall!
Good for you! ❤️
I like the simplicity and colors of the finished piece.
this is a great idea, finish what you started and use up what you bought. this will clear your stock, so you can buy more, will give you FODDER for bloggin PLUS the fun of doing it. I like this and the fact you can flip it around and use the other side too
I think this really turned out good/well. Right now I don't know which word to use...my brain is not working.
This is cute and I like the paper...easier too!
This is really pretty and festive looking! Definitely a lot of wonderful fall colors :) And I agree with you, where did this year go? I can't believe today is September 1st either!

Great for you!!! Now if I could get my as....rear in gear and start crafting. Like you, been buying stuff and clogging up the craft room with it all but not moving anything out....
You do such wonderful crafts. I love the colors of fall.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
Oh my gosh, I love-love-LOVE this, Ann!!! I'm so glad your crafting mojo is back! I adore seeing all the pictures of your crafting magic. ~Andrea xoxo
One can never have enough craft items, lol
I was in Lidl today and could have come out with a trolley full of stuff, none of it needed, I just liked it all. Empty boxes, little note books, tins of pencils, all this stuff just draws me to it. lol

That came out nice and looks cute with the flowers in it.
Set for the season, lovely!
okay I'm back - actually I hadn't worked out why no updates were coming, so at another blogger blog I "unfollowed" and then "followed" and noted something about my "reader" being the place to go... I'd much rather click through from an email
anyway sounds like crafting is going well, and that things that were "stashed for another time" appearing. Love the Fall decorative item
