I may string some lights inside the crates and then around the back of the top. I'm also thinking of maybe using a piece of the snow blanket to cover the picture on the wall. It looks like there might be room in there for another building or two now.

Wow, what a village! You have everything! I enlarged it and looked more closely. Did you collect it over many years? Actually, that picture looks like giant wolves are roaming the village!
It's beautiful, and friendly. I don't decorate down here...Andy's tree on the roof up in the mountains is it for us.
I did what Jenny did and enlarged and looked at each little piece and for some reason I don't remember the covered bridge and the lighthouse. Of course my memory is really bad now anyway. Great idea to use the boxes and you can always keep adding boxes if it gets too big it looks great and I think lights are a good idea. Walmart has blue lights that are really pretty that would look good on it and they're only 327
That was a great idea...I like the results. Great idea to cover the picture with a blanket of snow. I wantbto.temember to.look at it layer on computer.
Nice!! The ice skaters...is that a cut mirror for the frozen lake??!
What a nice idea! I have 3 little magic houses. I love it to see them in the evening.
Love it. Lights are a great idea.
That looks great. I have a friend that moves the furniture out of the house and on two full walls she puts up her villages. Its amazing.
So pretty. I love seeing all the Christmas decorations.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
I love that you used grates to give them more space. The snow picture idea is another really good one. LOOOOVE lights. Be cool to see that!
Great idea with the crates. Your village is charming.
I love your village! I have one that my mom made a long time ago. I haven't put it up in 4 years because I don't have room for it anywhere!
That's a clever idea with the crates and this is a real pretty village collection you have. Love it!
It's so cute. I think your ideas sound really nice.
