Saturday June 24th the day started off a bit on the foggy side. It was kind of fitting though because I was feeling a bit foggy when I got out of bed.
Here's some pictures out the front window
And some pictures out the back
It cleared out later in the morning. Even if it hadn't I wouldn't have minded since I didn't have any plans for the day.

I like fog! Mainly because we don't get it that often. And because I don't have to drive in it. 😊
Crystal and I would drive out to my folks place on Saturday nights at around 10:00 at night to watch wrestling with my mom who was an avid fan. To get there, we had to drive along a lonely country road with a huge valley in it...fog would always collect there; thick, eerie white. I always teased her that it was Vampire country...She'd laugh along with me but you could tell, she was wary...lol
Thanks Ann for the memory.
Big hug
Donna
this is a fun fog, it makes things look mysterious. I am adding the word mysterious to my AI word list for descriptions.
Folklore says if you count the foggy mornings in the month of August it predicts how many snow storms you will have that winter. I've always tried to do it to see if it works but loose count. lol
Your back yard is so big and pretty. Your photos are so pretty, I love how fog takes the harsh edge off the world, and makes everything so soft.
It looked not quite that bad one morning last week...only it was smoke from the Canadian wildfires. I could not believe how hazy it was. And could smell it strongly. It made my daughter's throat burn...
Glad you didn't have to drive in it but I do love looking out at a foggy morning. I find the quiet so peaceful.
We've been having so many foggy starts to the day!!
They make for great pictures.
Wow, it was really foggy! Glad it cleared up. Must have had something to do with the temperatures.
