I recently was gifted an iPad. If I've got an iPad I need to have the Procreate app that Sandra always uses. I've got a lot to learn yet but I've figured out a few things.
First I drew a picture in my sketch book. Then I decided to try and draw it in Procreate.
Here is the paper and marker version.
And here is the Procreate version
Next I drew a Christmasey picture
This is a lot of fun and I can see using it a lot. I don't think I'll give up drawing on paper though. Maybe it will be a combination of drawing on paper and then copying on Procreate.

Wow, an iPad is an awesome gift! You will have so much fun with it!! And you didn't even need any teaching for Procreate, you did really well, like you've been doing it a long time.
The girl at the Christmas tree is really very funny :-))
I believe that there is no substitute for drawing with pens on paper, it is the basic craft, isn't it?
Kind regards to you.
Yay, I love the idea of drawing it first and then again, there is a lot of difference, when I do the copy cat of your drawings, they are different because one is paper the other is digital. I can't believe this. I am going to send you what I doodled last night on the iPad while watching TV... it will go in a post soon..
PS will try the color book page also
I so love that last...and I so understand doing both.
Your talent shines through no matter the medium...love all your drawings...

That is a great gift! Procreate looks fun!
That does look like it would be fun but to me, nothing beats good pens and paper. Have a great Saturday.
Well done on both. I especially like the Elf/Gnome

That’s a great gift and you are putting it to good use. We are getting entertained too. Love your creations! I bought myself a little sketch pad and found some old colored pencils. You have inspired me :)
