These days I don't spend any time at the fair but there is one thing I won't miss and that's the parade. It goes right by my house so how could I not go out and watch it.
I didn't take as many pictures this year as I usually do but here are a few highlights.
I used to work with the guy carrying the American flag
The local high schools marching band

There was one more but apparently I didn't get a picture of them. They were the only band who marched in uniform too.
Rain was in the forecast for the day and thankfully it held off for the parade. It did sprinkle a little at the end but nothing that made us run for cover.
