I'm Baaack

I would love to tell you about all the great things I did while I was ignoring my poor blog. Yes, it would be wonderful to tell you that, but I can't. It would be a lie. Since I'm getting too old to remember the fabrications I tell, it's easier to go with the truth. The truth is, I was lazy and boring.
I did clean my desk and organize all those important tid bits of information, but...

It was so clean that I had space to play and I messed it back up again.
The important part was that I needed to organize where I was keeping the important information and below is the before and after shot.
I can actually find what I need now without searching endlessly through a sea of papers and junk.

So even though I have nothing exciting or even remotely interesting I'm back anyway. It was just too painful hearing the echo every time I opened up my empty e-mail box. I will blog once again, but first I must pick up and dust off my poor neglected camera so that I can at least throw in picture with my tales of boringness.

You sound like me! When I take off, I have big plans, but all I usually end up doing is just getting things sorted enough that I can find them! I was beginning to wonder about you, but everyone needs a breather from the computer, then to come back refreshed.

That's great, welcome back. I would say you did an important work, as I can't remember the last time I cleaned my desk.

Welcome back girl! Short sabbatical, but we still missed ya. *grin* You know I do exactly the same thing if I find an itty bitty clean space (can't seem to help myself ;o)

I am serious about wondering if you and my wife (and her mother) really are related. For they cannot stand seeing uncovered surfaces, neither, and a pile of "stuff" doesn't officially become a pile until it is at least a foot and a half tall.

Oh, and don't you dare try to smart something back about me needing to be more helpful. For it is still hard to type after getting both of my hands smacked with a stick that one of them always seems to have handy the last time I tried to just straighten one of their unofficial piles!

Your desk looks good.Mine did look like that but it is steadily creeping back up to cluttered. An on going battle. Glad to have you back. Have a great weekend.

One week without blogging (or at least reading my fave blogs) is quite a challenge for me also. Glad you got your desk organized! Love the red mug :)

Ann I invite to come over to my home and help me-- I am forever rummaging where things are nowadays! I craft in my daughters toy room and all our things are mixed up and our doggy brings his toys too to help add to the confusion!

Oh goodie, you're back! I'm all about neat and tidy but sometimes I get so neat and tidy I forget where I put something.

Welcome back. Hope the tidiness keeps going. I never manage it.

I too love the clean look of the craft room. But I read several blogs that they couldn't find anything when their craft rooms are neat and tidy and I admit I am one of them. I threw a way most of my scraps when I clean my play area. I don't know why I keep them in the first place. What do you do with your scraps?

Somehow I don't beleive that anything at your house is boring! Not with Duke living there.

Your desk looks good...you've sorted through everything and know exactly what's there! Yea you! Of course you had to mess it up again...I can't leave a flat surface alone either! It's like it just crys out for some kind of creative activity!

Just think, sometimes its the smallest task that are the most effective.

Welcome back! There is something to be said about boringness. Sometime you just have to take a break and just chill....

Bubba wants to know if you spent extra time with Duke?
