I always am in wonderment with those lily pads and how they survive...without being all pruned up for being in water all the time! The flowers area always dazzling.
they are beautiful, i can't decide which i like best, the first or the last, great shots. and where oh where is the frog prince that should be on one of the pads....
Sorry, but that auto-play video really freaked me out. For I didn't know if my computer had been hijacked or what was going on until I finally found it.
I love the song...does not make sense but I will be singing Lily pad for a long time LOL Lily pads are comical to look at..very unique. Fun post...it put a smile on my face and definitely a song on my heart.
Well, now there is a spring in my step this morning and a new tune in my head and a just a little sway in my step as I go about humming this catchy song :) fun!

The video just started playing and scared the stuffing out of me. Yikes.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. ☺
And where are the frogs? Aren't lily pads supposed to have frogs? And princes? those look like lotus flowers, so maybe a buddha or 2?
This bring back my childhood memories. Did you know the stem that hold the lily is editable? And the leaves are for cooking use too.
So peaceful. Makes me want to sit and watch water being just water! :)
Interesting song... Quite different!!! I do love lily pads though.. We see them at Biltmore---which reminds me that it's time to go back over there.
Hugs,
Betsy
PS...I know I was here earlier, and I see a typo in my comment...should be ARE instead of area.
But, I thought of you as I checked my email just now and how you like to embroidery...maybe for your craft show next month?

I am with Sandee, the video started playing and I thought I was in the wrong place. Too funny. Good ole lily pads. They are terrific. Take care.
Oh, I really like that last photo! I hope that Mister Duke wasn't testing out the waters.
I have never seen a video on your blog - I thought I was losing my mind when I heard it starting to sing. So cute - Lily Pad .... sandie
