Hop on my lily pad

While at the lake I stopped to check out the lily pads

Then while searching for something to go along with this post I found a website called The Lilypad Cottage

I always am in wonderment with those lily pads and how they survive...without being all pruned up for being in water all the time! The flowers area always dazzling.

The video just started playing and scared the stuffing out of me. Yikes.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. ☺

And where are the frogs? Aren't lily pads supposed to have frogs? And princes? those look like lotus flowers, so maybe a buddha or 2?

This bring back my childhood memories. Did you know the stem that hold the lily is editable? And the leaves are for cooking use too.

Interesting song... Quite different!!! I do love lily pads though.. We see them at Biltmore---which reminds me that it's time to go back over there.

Hugs,
Betsy

PS...I know I was here earlier, and I see a typo in my comment...should be ARE instead of area.

But, I thought of you as I checked my email just now and how you like to embroidery...maybe for your craft show next month?

I hope this link works.

Sorry, but that auto-play video really freaked me out. For I didn't know if my computer had been hijacked or what was going on until I finally found it.
