I've seen lots and lots of infinity scarves and have been wanting to make one for quite some time. It's when I saw Lorraine's post for her crochet braided scarf that I was inspired to give it a try. You can find the pattern on her blog.
Pardon the bad pictures but this is what I got.
Duke helped me out and modeled my first scarf. This one I did following the pattern exactly
I liked it but maybe because of the yarn I used or the fact that I tend to crochet a little on the tight side, it turned out just a bit stiff. That doesn't mean it's not a perfectly good scarf but it was a perfectly good excuse to try again and make an adjustment.
For the second one I used a larger hook and started with a shorter chain. It ended up coming out almost exactly the same length but looser than the first one.
After I finished these two my next project was a crocheted cowl. I'll show you that one tomorrow.

that's wonderful!
I love the colors on the second one!
I LOVE seeing YOU, that is a rare sight indeed. I have never heard of this kind of scarf. So it is circular? I think Duke should have the first one. He looks good in it. The one you are wearing is the bomb, I love it and I love the colors as well. And the pattern...it is really gorgeous! I think you could sell these big time!!
Those are gorgeous! Love the brown/turquoise one!
These came out beautiful Ann! Love them!
I'd say you both look stunning in your new neckwear!
I love them, Ann. I have to try to make one of those this coming week. I can actually double crochet so that doesn't look too hard for me. I love your colors better than the tut! You and Duke look stunning. :)
Ann, I' m going to get out my hooks nod try this. Yours came out adorable!...:)JP
Your scarf is beautiful! Duke makes such a great model - I think it is the contrast of his beautiful white fur against the colorful scarf!
Hugs, antonella :-)
i like the colors and it fits perfect for your cold days that are on the way. can't wear scarves here, to hot even in the winter.. but baby would love it, she loves soft things. duke looks great as always, hope he did not try to walk with it on though... is it crocheted together? or do you tie it on....
My mom favorite, infinity scarfs ... greatest invention. Happy Friday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Lovely to see you! I like the blue one (of course you knew that!)...Infinity scarves are interesting -
You can do everything I am so incredibly jealous. I love them both. I do have to say the picture of Duke is stunning!
Duke looks like he is showing signs of severe bacon deprivation again.
I've seen a similar scarf and wanted to make one but never got to it. Love your colors.
Someday I'm going to learn to crochet...but for now I'll just admire your work!
I like them both and Duke doesn't appear to be appreciating this very much.
Have a fabulous day. My best to Duke. ☺
Yours is cuter, sorry Duke
Those scarves are really lovely, I especially love the colours in the second one (please don't tell Duke). Having been from Blogland for a while I have finally caught up with all of your posts...and there were quite a few
Oh I love them both! I have been thinking about trying one of those too, love that pattern. Very nice.
It's 89 degrees here...they look hot right now. But they'd looks great with a sweater or turtleneck.
Love the tighter stitched one myself...better.
They both look very nice ^_^
I really like the scarfs! So pretty! Again, you're so talented!
You did a nice job making the scarf...they are so popular this year...and it was a nice treat to see a photo of you.
Although Duke looks very handsome in blue, he does not seem to be enjoying his modeling career.
Your scarf is gorgeous and looks so nice on you! LOVE the colors. It will go with lots this winter! Happy you got it just as you liked :)
Poor Duke...Hahaaa...but loving the patterns! Gorgeous colors!
hughugs
Oh, I like both of those! And toodles to Mr. Duke! I hope he got an extra biscuit for his modeling services.
Very nice. I'm thinking gifts!
I love all of your scarves and cowls.... Love the colors in that one you are wearing... And Duke looks so cute wearing the scarf.
