Cup of tea

Do you notice anything odd about this cup of tea? Aside from the fact that it looks a bit foamy on the top that is. I think that's from the artificial sweetener I put in there.

Did you say the tea bag looks different? You're right it does. It's pyramid shaped.

I bought it for the flavor because  I really do like chai tea and cinnamon spiced chia sounded very yummy.

The pyramid tea bag is pretty neat though. It's a heavier material than what most tea bags are made from. For clarification, this is not a sponsored post. I bought the tea bags, enjoyed the tea and needed a subject for a blog post

I'm not a tea drinker, but thought the new tea bag shape was interesting. Cheers! xo

And I love your Dollar Store boxes below! They always have fun and pretty things there don't they.
Happy Thursday!

well now, you coulda fooled me...I thought maybe your bakery was promoting the new tea. [kidding of course]

This sounds like such a perfect, warm, wonderful morning treat. Now, I'm gonna go make me some hot mint tea.

Will have to check this new tea out...new to me.

never seen one like that but my raspberry zinger is not wrapped individually, and the bags have no strings. they are all in one container... odd . i have not tried the cinnamon chia but i want to try the chocolate one, i like the vanilla chia.

I have a friend (with lots of money) who gets all fancy teas that come in those bags. They are nice.

I only drink tea - camomile too but maybe I should try chai.
I read somewhere that the pyramid shape bag allows the flavor to infuse better.
Sounds like advertising hooha to me but they look neat!

I have a couple of boxes of Lipton's special teas and really enjoy them. And the tea bags flavors are strong enough that I can use them 2 or three times.

Cute pyramid shape. I wonder why they package it that way? I'm also a tea drinker myself. I must have a gazillion varieties in my cabinets but my favorite and the one I drink most often is good old Lipton regular tea. Although in the evenings I do like my chamomile blends.

I would think the shape lets the water flow through better - get more tea taste. I don't drink coffee any more (so sad!) and while I am happy enough drinking tea, like coffee, I don't care for 'flavors' ...

I've not seen a teabag like that before. Very interesting indeed. And if the tea is good it's all good.

Have a fabulous day. My best to Duke. ♥♥♥

I haven't seen that kind of tea bag before or that tea but I'll have to look for it. I drink tea pretty much every day since I hate coffee.

We had 5 inches of snow yesterday... Very pretty!!!

I've been drinking pomegranate tea lately and liking it. Have you tried that? It's Bigelow Green Tea with Pomegranate. YUM!

I like the pyramid shape...I don't know if it makes the tea taste and better, but it's more fun to look at! :)

The tea sounds great...I have used pyramid bags before...they are supposed to let the leaves flow more so that you get more flavour from them!!

I like the tea bag...I have seen where people dry them out and paint on them.

Homemade cinnamon toothpicks ruined the taste of the spic for me back in grade school, but Arlynda still loves it. So, I'll tell her about this.
