Well done Anne, I have a button hole maker but like you I've taken a look and kept well away from it, I might have to get my book out and have a go now. Years ago I used to make them on my old Singer but doind short zigzag on the long side and then long one's at each end then cut through the middle but it was chancy. lol Great idea for the iron cord. this is so much better than the plastic thingy the needles came in. i have needles just in case a button falls off.. this is really cool. love it....sellable item here
Now that is a terrific handy-dandy item - I want one (Yes, I have needles, they are in this round thing with a little hole that you move around the edge of the round thing - well, you know). Yes, very sellable even us non-crafty people still keep a small supply of sewing things. That is just super useful and pretty.
There's another great way to use your fabric and buttons/button holes!!!!! Love it---and I'm sure you can find many other ways you can use that little thing!!! Hugs, Betsy
I would do most anything to avoid a buttonhole...I mean, isn't that what Velcro is for! Love your two creations...the cord cuff would definitely come in handy around here. Actually I think I need several!

How cute! I have a couple - they make great gifts for crafty friends too!
You, my dear, are so crafty!!! Love the fabric choice too.
Too cool!
You are too innovative with your machine. I took out my old sewing machine yesterday to repair pants...does that count????...:)JP
how fun, you are on a roll

Have a fabulous day. My best to Duke. ♥♥♥
Very clever! I use needles for my beadweaving so there's lots of uses for that!
great idea...
That's a good thing to make for a craft show. You can also make them a little larger for safety pins too.
Very pretty! You have so much patience! I don't think I could ever master this.
