Bought it

I didn't take me long to find some cute little treasures to buy while we at Shaker Woods.  My first purchase was probably within 10 minutes after we got there.

I just couldn't resist this cute little turkey

And this snowman ornament came from the same place. This lady had the cutest things and I could have spent a whole lot more. The two together were around $12

At another place I bought this cute yo yo tree ornament. I thought this would be easy to make so I bought just one to copy

She also had these yo yo clothespin ornaments. Another one that will be easy to make myself and I'll be able to use up all those fabric scraps that are too small for anything else.

I don't have a picture of my other purchase which was a heavenly little bag of maple coated cashews. I know they aren't on my diet but I sampled some that they had sitting out and I couldn't resist.

Early in the day while it was still quite chilly we enjoyed a cup of hot apple cider which was delicious and for lunch we had hot turkey sandwiches and french fries.  Ok so it wasn't a diet friendly day but it sure was fun.

The stuffed turkey is my favorite! Do you remember the paper curling items that I bought from you? I put them out every fall. I love them!

Oh do these bring back memories for me! We used to have a "bazaar" type place just around the corner from us that was open just once a week, and tons of crafters would fill the space! I cannot even begin to tell you the money I spent in there...but the items were very similar to the ones that you purchased! LOVE the turkey! I have a "thing" about snowmen...and I bought a whole family of them from the bazaar. Actually, it is probably a good thing they went out of business several years back. I miss going there to look though! Sounds like you had a great time!

Sometimes you have to get off your diet friendly day and enjoy something different. It's a good thing.

I love all your treasures. So adorable. I'm sure you'll show us your version.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Any food plan that doesn't allow for treats is doomed! Sounds like a good day all around.

I love the turkey! Cute, cute, cute! The nuts sound good too! Diets don't work, lifestyle changes do and you've made lots of those so one day isn't going to derail anything. Enjoy without stressing over it!

CUTE!! When I go to outings like this I always indulge! I figure all that walking around burns it off. :)
