Hey Pumpkin

This time of year it's all about the pumpkins and you can find all kinds.

There are giant pumpkins. As big as 790 pounds

Fake decorative pumpkins

Pumpkins who sit on steps.

Decorated pumpkins

And even black pumpkins

Do you have a pumpkin?

Believe it or not, Ann...we have not gotten our pumpkin yet! We have several decorative pumpkins sitting around the house...mostly from Target! If it is not raining, we may go out this afternoon and pick up a couple!

My entire fall decoration is one pumpkin.Have lots at the farm.A local bank has a group painted and you can vote for the best. There were some good ones.

I have a plastic one which is ugly. Real ones are eaten pronto by ferocious squirrels. Maybe I'll make the tea light ones.

We do not have a pumpkin. By the way, is it kind of silly to have a black pumpkin. I can't imagine having one of those very large pumpkins. Have a great day Ann.

the only one I have are the photos I took at hobby lobby and I deleted them.. I don't like black pumpkins but I do like the way they decorated the little one and on the steps and the fake is ok.. I like jack o lanterns but not enough to do one. I saw a pumpkin maybe 100 pounds and it was 99.00 at Publix.. I am betting you have a few stashed around the house

I only have the one you sent me some years back. We don't do Halloween here. We go to the boat and have a nice quiet night. That's what we'll be doing this year too.

Have a fabulous day Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

We are not going to be home so we did not pick up a pumpkin this year :(

Yes, I have my one and only real pumpkin on the steps outside. I used bleach on the pumpkin and then sprayed clear Krylon paint on it to make it shiny. The bleach keeps the pumpkin from rotting and turning mushy! You can also do this method after you carve your pumpkin to keep it longer.

As far a pumpkins in the house for decoration, I can't count them all. I have fabric pumpkins, resin pumpkins, ceramic pumpkins, tin pumpkins, probably more kinds, but can't think of them all now.

This week, I'll be making pumpkin bread!!

Tomorrow is art class at the center, but we aren't drawing pumpkins tomorrow, we are doing "Leaves in Pastels."

I think my favorite is the pretty fake one. And it did fake me out, because at first I thought it was real and carved by an artist! We have a few real tiny ones for the girls to play with, but nothing like these! Do you have any? Will you put any outside?

I love that the U.S puts such great effort into decorating for holidays. I wish Australia did too.

Pumpkins in all their many forms are one of my favorite things about fall! With that said I have't bought any yet. I'm late to the party. Boo on me. :)

No real pumpkins around here but plenty of handmade ones ☺ We don't get any trick or treaters so don't carve a Halloween pumpkin anymore. Deb xo
