Look to the sky

Shortly before dinner last night I took a picture out the back door because I needed something new for a blog post.

Granted it's not an exciting blog post but it's better than nothing. Of course that could be debated.

I liked the way the sky looked but I hate having to see the back of that building in my picture.

Then I zoomed in and got rid of the building.  It's hard to believe that all the leaves are gone already. It won't be much longer before there will be white stuff flying around out there.

I think that is a great picture even with building since it is kind of in the shadows, so doesn't show up very much. But that sky is just gorgeous. We like both pictures

Beautiful sky! The leaves are falling rapidly here as well, plus we have below zero temps.

The colors are nice, I shot one yesterday and didn't notice the power lines

I like both shots and I like the building. I would use the burn tool and darken the building so it is only a silhouette.. just sayin what I would do... I love the trees without leaves, and never get to see that, they are beautiful like that but no to snow.. on no oh no

You edited the building right out and now it's fabulous.

Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

It was well worth stepping out to take that sky with the bare limbs silhouetted . Makes for a beautiful photo!

That is a nice sky - Only 2 days ago the Japanese dogwood outside my window was full and colorful, today it is almost bare. We have a lot of holly trees around here and they are green all year long, and those honking big trees in the back - don;t know what they are but they don't go bare either.

Nice!!! Very nice indeed! It's been very nippy in the early mornings here so I imagine down your way, it's pretty brisk too!...:)JP

What is that building anyway? Was it there when you moved in or did you watch it being built? Yes, all the leaves are gone, but such a pretty sky! At least it is not grey yet.

Lovely sunset picture Ann and please don't mention the white stuff, it's suddenly gotten cold and windy here and I can't bear the thought of it! Deb xo

You got that right Ann! We are losing leaves by the millions here! They say snow is in the forecast, but I just looked at next week and Friday it is supposed to be 66!! Not complaining here...I could totally do without any snow at all. Except on Christmas Day. I would like snow that day. And then never again! Ha!
