While sitting on the couch I had noticed the tree by the front door. The icicles hanging off the roof had been dripping on it and decorated it
I did have to make a quick trip to the store and when I started the vehicle I noticed the amazing blue sky with that bright shiny thing in the sky. I'm pretty sure they call it the sun. I haven't seen it in a while and it sure was a welcome visitor.

How pretty the bright blue sky and the snow below are. The icicles are so perfect that they look fake!!
I love the sunshine in the sky with the snowy blanket below. And the dripping eave on the tree makes for a wonderful Christmas decor outdoors!!

two totally awesome pics... can't decide which I like best. the icicles are gorgeous but that bright blue sky with the shiny thing is gorgeous to. it is good to relax, you might not have noticed the tree if you did not do a lay about day.
That sky becomes a treasure when we have so many overcast days
We've had a lot of rain this fall and I'm very happy about that. We also are having some sunshine now and that's a wonderful thing. Recharges our batteries.

the icicles are so cool! But, the sunshine with snow is sooo pretty! I can handle winter days when the sun is shining otherwise cold, cloudy days are so depressing.

Cold or not...that sure is a lovely scene in your world. We have snow and ice...AND sub-zero temps, but it will all disappear this weekend when it turns to 40 degrees! Yikes--this winter is crazy.
