I guess I needed a bit of a break from all the Christmas madness because yesterday for my day off I had a very lazy do nothing kind of day. I even got a nap in.
While sitting on the couch I had noticed the tree by the front door. The icicles hanging off the roof had been dripping on it and decorated it
I did have to make a quick trip to the store and when I started the vehicle I noticed the amazing blue sky with that bright shiny thing in the sky. I'm pretty sure they call it the sun. I haven't seen it in a while and it sure was a welcome visitor.
How pretty the bright blue sky and the snow below are. The icicles are so perfect that they look fake!!
I love the sunshine in the sky with the snowy blanket below. And the dripping eave on the tree makes for a wonderful Christmas decor outdoors!!
Napping? That's always a good thing.
Those icicles are pretty. So is the snow and the sun are great too. You have a great day Ann.
two totally awesome pics... can't decide which I like best. the icicles are gorgeous but that bright blue sky with the shiny thing is gorgeous to. it is good to relax, you might not have noticed the tree if you did not do a lay about day.
That sky becomes a treasure when we have so many overcast days
We've had a lot of rain this fall and I'm very happy about that. We also are having some sunshine now and that's a wonderful thing. Recharges our batteries.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
the icicles are so cool! But, the sunshine with snow is sooo pretty! I can handle winter days when the sun is shining otherwise cold, cloudy days are so depressing.
two pretty pics!! happy Christmas week to you!!!!
btw...glad you got a nap. :)
Pretty but cold, LOL.
It's been grey over here for days. Well, at least no snow ;-)
There's something about icicles hanging off a pine tree..just so perfect for the season! Love the beautiful sunshine!
I love icy trees, lord knows I post enough photos of them but that second photo is just glorious...
How lovely to see the sun in your picture as we haven't seen him in ages!
I love the icicles on the tree to look at but I'm sure it's too cold for me!
Beautiful pictures! I love when the sun shines and there's lots of snow! It makes it look so pretty.
Cold or not...that sure is a lovely scene in your world. We have snow and ice...AND sub-zero temps, but it will all disappear this weekend when it turns to 40 degrees! Yikes--this winter is crazy.
