Just a little something

Well Thursday night my computer went all the way through it's updating and everything seems to be working ok. I guess I lucked out.

The other day while I was out walking I stopped to admire some of the flowers in front of the funeral home. I have always liked black eyed susans.

I took the picture and then I noticed a rock leaning up against the sign post. I left it there for someone else to find.

Do they paint and hide the rocks in your neck of the woods? If they do have you found any?

I have never seen any, only read about it. I hope some bereaved person finds this, and it brightens their day. I like the tiny blue bells under the Black Eyed Susans too.

nice rock.. I don't know if they are here or not, I never go anywhere except Walmart and the Y and TOPS meeting, so far those 3 places have no rocks. he he he.. I don't even go in our front yard, there may be one out there. yesterday I went to shut down my desk top and it started the update thing and for 3 hours it sat there, then I got the log in, and it took another hour plus. so about 4 hours and I have super highspeed internet. the thing is the laptop has not asked me to do the update. now I wonder why...there may be no difference now, but wait until we go to use something and find we don't know how. I am not a fan of Windows any more

I've heard of the rock hiding but don't know if anyone does it around here or not. But I love the idea... as I do your flower picture, Ann. Absolutely lovely! xoxo

I've heard about The Kindness Rocks Project, and the Rainbow Rock Project, so I'm guessing this is something like that.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I might want to try painting and hiding rocks . . . sounds like fun :) Is that shamrock growing around that rock and does it grow wild where you live?

Pretty posies and they were just talking about this rock painting phenomenon in one of my DT groups the other day, must be a U.S. thing, haven't seen any painted rocks up here in Canada other than the ones Mother Nature scatters about! Deb xo

I found one and it had a biblical saying on it. Left it where I found it.

LOVE the flowers!

Of course we do the rocks...we are known as 615 Rocks! Using our area code. I love it. I have yet to find any but I have dropped several to be found and I have about 5 painted to go out soon. Great find.

Since I do paint rocks... I think this post rocks!!! lol I give some away, but also sell them too. Just had an inquiry yesterday for one, and a friend is buying something for her garden.
I haven't got it going yet, but am planning to start a FB group for my small town where people can share about painting/leaving/finding them in the community. It's popular!

These are blooming in our garden right now. The painted rocks idea is great :)

The black-eyed Susans never do well in my yard for some reason. But I like them and keep planting them, regardless.

No rocks around here. I've seen it all over FB...but I have not seen this here yet.

They are doing that here where I live but as yet I haven't went looking for any hidden rocks nor painted any. It might be fun to give it a try.
