No calorie cake

I haven't made one of these in a really long time. Who doesn't like cake? This one is tiny, calorie-free and it has a little candle in the middle.

This is made from a battery operated tealight.

The scalloped base has a hole in the bottom so that you can turn it on and off as well as change the battery.

I cut the flowers on my Cricut then rolled them with a quilling tool. The leaves were also cut on my Cricut machine.

The only thing I wish I would have done differently is to not glue the sides of the top paper down on the edges. I'll do another one and see if I like it better that way.

  1. Oh my gosh, this is amazing! What complex and delicate work, it must have taken so long and so much concentration!! If there were a museum of crafts, this should be in it. It is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! You have outdone yourself.

  7. And I just noticed the leaves are textured in such a way as to make then look really real. This whole thing just blows me away.
