I've been busy

It's been a busy few days. Friday night after work I spent a little time working on project declutter. I managed to fill one garbage bag. Saturday morning I started out early with grocery shopping, then laundry and bill paying. Late morning my daughters future mother in law came over to give Gibbs a hair cut. Since she was willing to bring her clippers over and do it for free I was happy to accept her offer. He was looking very bad. Sunday was work then came home to do some work on cleaning out the shed.
Even Gibbs was too busy chowing down to sit for a proper picture. All I've got is this grainy fuzzy picture of him eating.

Not sure what I'll do today. I think I'll just play it by ear.

Sweet! That was nice of her to give Gibbs a haircut. One less thing for you to have to take care of. I'm sure she was happy that she could help you a little bit.

So as a reward for all the work you've been doing - a play day! Make something pretty.

Filling a garbage bag sounds ominous. You were throwing things away?

Project Declutter lives with me constantly.. I go through spurts when I try to declutter --but the 'spurts' are gone right now... ha ha

Bet Gibbs feels better now... Nice to get a haircut and a free one at that!!!!

When is your daughter getting married?

Hugs,
Betsy

You're keeping yourself busy. I hope you're doing okay. I think of you often.

Good on Gibbs getting a spa day. He's such a handsome mandog. I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a great day off, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Days without plans where you get to "wing it" are sometimes the best days of all. Enjoy and Keep Smiling. Sometimes putting on a smile can turn your whole day around.
God Bless you.
Connie :)

You really HAVE been busy! When is your daughter getting married? Is her fiancee's mom a dog groomer? Did Gibbs like her?

It was very nice. She has been quite helpful and has been checking up on me every so often

It was sort of a plan day. I certainly didn't do anything that I didn't want to do

Yes, throwing things away. It was a all junk that was shoved in the crawl space and it needed to go

I think Gibbs feels better too with all that fur cut off

I try to keep busy so I don't sit around and think too much.
My daughter has a date set for November.
Her fiancees mom used to work at a kennel and she did do some grooming there. Gibbs did like her and she was very patient with him

I know it felt wonderful to Gibbs to get a trim. I cannot imagine having the expertise to groom dogs. Remembering you often in my prayers. xo
