running on empty.

Yes, I am running on empty in more ways than one. Blog material is one way. I have nothing but the ramblings of a crazy old woman and some old pictures dug out of the files

Wish I had some of these right now but my cupboard is running empty of anything sweet.

One month of bills played since I've had to be all adult like and take care of it myself. Now my checking account  is running on empty too. Could be a part time job may be in my near future. It's better than the option of giving up eating.

Since this is starting to sound too whiney I think this is a good place to end this post. I'll try for sunshine and sparkles tomorrow

Aww Ann...so sorry to hear this. Sometimes it takes a couple of months for all the financial stuff to shake out. Hopefully things will improve soon. Sending hugs and prayers.

I like the copper against the aqua whatever that is.. I am glad you made it throught the first month of paying bills and hope it gets better soon without the second job. hope you can get some of them down in amounts. hang in there, I mean what else can you do? so that is not a good comment but I am leaving it anyway.

Putting on a happy face? Getting the weepy, whiney out in the open relieves the burden of it - puts it in perspective, allows for the deep breath needed to face the realities - I hope you have someone you can pour it out to - in real life, face to face - it helps, it really does. You've always struck me as a can-do sort of gal, and you can - and it's hard, and it's all the seemingly endless details that wear you down - weep, whine, bitch, moan - ask for help. This is a bumpy road you are on now, but I hope and trust, it will smooth out for you - it just takes time.

Adulting isn't all that fun as you've found out. You are traveling new roads you've not traveled for a long time. You'll find your way and you can be in whatever mood you need to be while traveling them. I'm here for you.

Have a happy day, my friend. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Good Morning sweet friend. I do hope that today is a better day for you. It's going to take time, but you're a strong girl and you'll come through this. Give yourself a break and be kind to yourself. Sending you a big hug:)

The bills will slow down now that the chaos is over and it is just you and Gibbs in the house. You will learn where and how to make cuts in due time. You are not whiney...crap, you have just been through a major change/loss in your life! Be kind to yourself.

All of us have our dry moments with blogging. Especially those of us who post every day! But you make even nothing days fun. I bet you made these rolls, yum!

I do believe that deep down, I am a can do sort of person. I need to occasionally break down so that I can give myself the pep talk and get going again. As for someone to talk to I suppose there is but I'm not really the type of person to go looking for someone to listen or to help. Gibbs is being quite sympathetic and doles out lots of puppy kisses as needed :)

I know you are right it's just the last couple days have been an overload for me.

Thanks Connie.

Yes, I will learn. Sooner or later it will all fall into place. I'll figure out what I need to do to get where I want to be. But for today, I'm on overload and need to burn some of that off.

Yes, that is true. Blogging is very therapeutic though so I push myself to do it.
The rolls were the cheap kind that come in the can (Pillsbury)
