Oh yes I did

Maybe it's because I was in need of a feel good story to chase away the aggravation I was feeling but last night I watched not one but two Christmas movies.

The first was called One Special Night with James Garner and Julie Andrews

And the second was Crazy forChristmas

I won't pretend I didn't enjoy both movies. I'm pretty sure I've already seen the second one though.

My original plan was to come home from work and get busy on those craft projects that are waiting to be finished but my mood wasn't right so sappy Christmas movies it was.

We watched the man who invented Christmas just this past week. About Charles Dickens & the writing of the christmas carol. Just an okay movie. Our favorite is polar express.

I see nothing wrong with what you decided to do. Inspiration for crafting is a must...otherwise, if you don't wanna do it, it's best to not do anything to keep from messing up the project(s).

I'm a sucker for romance and Christmas and enjoy watching Hallmark and other Christmas movies. I found 'One Special Night' on you-tube and plan to watch it later.

Have a great week dear Ann ~ FlowerLady

I think the only Christmas movie I have seen more than once is "Love, Actually" My husband loves that movie and always cries at the end - When we had cable tv I liked the female Scrooge/Christmas Carol movies...Oh wait - I lie - "The Bishop's Wife" with Cary Grant and Loretta Young - I've been watching that movie just about every year since I was a kid...

Every so often I love to watch movies but my biggest hook is the weekly shows. I can get so comfy curled up on the couch with my quilt and my furs and watch all night!!! Fibro had brought lazy into my life. Good for you to sit and enjoy some time just vegging.

I have been recording the new ones, on Saturday and Sunday, have watched 3 new ones never seen, 2 were really good the other not so good. I don't have time to watch them, because bob is not gone long enough for a whole movie. I watch 1/2 one day and 1/2 the next... he hates Hallmark movies. I don't like most of them but I do like the Christmas movies. most of them.... don't ask me which ones I watched, have no idea

How fun. I used to do this and often. Nothing like watching them when it's hot outside. I've done that too.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and an extra treat for Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I'm with Grace---I LOVE "Love Actually" and like her husband...I cry at the end every.single.time.

I don't watch those Hallmark/Lifetime movies...but I do have a list of holiday movies that I watch each year.

I very rarely take the time to watch any Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas movies. I should though because they tend to bring on the Christmas spirit in me and I probably need all the help I can get!

Good for you! I need all the Christmas movies I can get this time of year to get me into the mood.

Ginny, Hallmark usually does that, I don't know about Lifetime. I don't have cable any more so I have to watch what is available with Prime.

Shery. I like the movies but it's kind of gotten to the point where theyare all pretty much the same

Anni, I know a lot of people who loved Polar Express but I didn't really like it all that much

Grace, I've always liked any movie that was a take on the original Christmas Carol.

Pam, now that I don't have cable any more I've kind of gotten away from weekly shows. I watch a lot of old shows on Prime

Sandee, a little Christmas in July cool down, I love it

Lin, I'm pretty sure I've seen Love Actually but can't for the life of me remember a thing about it

I've been watching Christmas movies for weeks now! The really sappy bad ones and I don't even mind. :)

everyone should learn to "veg-out"...it's a great soothing hobby to have

I think that was a great use of your time. Don't force making things because that would spoil the joy of doing it.

Those movies look upbeat and your time was well spent that evening. Maybe I should subscribe to the Hallmark Channel for the season.
