Another cake order at work. This was for a man who if you saw him, you would think he's homeless. He walks everywhere and he always carries bags with him. He knows everyone in town and everyone knows him. Once he learns your birthday he never forgets it and he will make a point of wishing you a happy birthday. Any way he sells candy bars and the proceeds benefit children in the area. The youth center had a party last Friday in his honor to celebrate him selling over 30,000 candy bars. I'm not sure how long it took him to sell that many.
These are the types of candy bars he sells and they wanted me to put these (in frosting) on the corners of the cake.
I told them it was just going to be a colored rectangle with the word Pulakos written in white. They said that would be fine. I couldn't really match the exact colors of the candy bar wrappers either.

You did a good job matching the colors. Everyone will know what they are. Does anyone know his name? Or where he lives?

Such a nice story, Ann, and you did a fabulous job of his cake!!

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
You sure do better with things like this than I would never do. The old guy sounds interesting.
You done well on that challenge, Ann! What a sweet story!
Dear Ann, this brought joy to my heart and a smile to my face. It just goes to show you 'cannot judge a book by it's cover'. What a heartwarming story and thank you for sharing.
Ginny, thanks. Yes everyone in town knows his name and I'm sure lots of people know where he lives too. I know what road he lives on but not exactly where.
Anni Thank you. I slwaus try
Sandee Yes it is a lot of candy bars. Once you buy from him every time he sees you he'll pull out your favorite and tempt you with it.
Lin, thanks. Everyone in town loves Calvin but if you didn't know him you would probably steer clear of him.
Sweet cake . . . you do such a nice job :)
