Paper bunny and chick

I dowloaded a free SVG file from Jennifer Maker for a paper filigree bunny and chick.

I did the bunny on my day off and was pretty happy with how it came out so decided to make the chick as well.

Tuesday I cut out the pieces after I got home from work but ran out of steam so didn't put it together. Wednesday I worked a 10 hour day and when I got home I decided to put the chick together. I kept getting glue all over the place. That's what happens when you try and craft when you're tired. He still came out pretty cute too.

She also offered free SVG files for paper filigree eggs as well. I don't know if I'll get around to making those this year but maybe for next year.

Cute, cute, and more cute!! Ann, they are adorable. But, be careful. That glue is hot, and those swear words burn Gibbs ears.

Those are beautiful!!

I understand the crafting while tired--I can't sew after dinner because I make so many mistakes. It's maddening!

CheerfulMonk, as I was putting that chick together I kept thinking "why am I trying to do this now"

Ginny, this comes as a cut file for the Cricut machine. I load the design, resize it to what I want and then once the paper is loaded in my machine I push a button and the machine cuts all the pieces. I just glue them together.

Anni, luckily for me I was using white glue. I have no doubt that if I were using a glue gun I would have ended up with some burns and I would have said a few choice words.

Sandee, thank you

Lin, thanks. I really don't know why I even tried it. I know how it always ends up.

Pam, thanks

Catherine, thank you

Oh Ann, these could not be cuter!! I don't know what an SVG file is but whatever it is, it's wonderful if it produced these!!! Love, Andrea xoxo PS~ Working 10 hours is a long time, girl! :-( My heart goes out to you. Our grocery store workers deserve recognition and praise too... so I bow low to you!!!

Andrea, thanks. SVG stands for scalable vector graphic. It's one of the types of files that the cricut machine will cut.
A 10 hour day does sound long but when you are already there 8 1/2 what's another 1 1/2 hours.
