I'm wondering if a trend is starting where people only want a border and writing on their cakes. This is the second one in a row that I've gotten
Sorry about the sideways picture. I uploaded it and realized I hadn't rotated it beforehand. I was simply too lazy to go back and do it

As always, your work is perfect. But it looks so plain, it needs writing or flowers or something. I always wonder WHY someone wants this. Maybe they are just not good at decisions.
Doesn't matter if the photo is sideways, as long as the cake is tasty!😋
The pastel blue is very nice. (tho decorations are pretty, I end up scraping it off my slice...I don't care for icing).
i love icing but i know a lot of people who remove it like Annie. but then if i were eating sugar, i would eat icing with a spoon. ha ha.. it is a little plain but i like plain
I like the simplicity of it.

I like simple cakes too. This one's pretty, Ann. I love how you get the writing so even & straight. ~Andrea xoxo
I think simple is still really beautiful. As always, I am amazed at how hood your writing is.
Boys rebelling against flowers I suppose?
The flowers are the best part of the icing. What's wrong with people?
I can tell you've been doing that for a long time! The writing is perfect!!
Maybe they don't know what their options are?? It's pretty though. You always do such a nice job.
Very pretty, but I took a huge slice. I hope the person that ordered it doesn't mind.
Have a fabulous day off and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
I love your honesty!!! LOL!...jp
It's a "thought trend" to think about. I would want something that represents me...but then we don't know anything about the person ordering the cake.
Now I want to go bake a cake.....guess I better eat dinner first though.
I would prefer a few decorations, but you make it look elegant because of your handwriting.
I like it . . . 'less is more'. k^^
