putting it back together part 3

The basement living space is now totally usable. I still want to change things up on the walls a bit but haven't quite decided what I'll do. But here it is. First the view from the steps
And here is the view from the couch looking towards the TV

For now I put a small cheap rug there until I decide what I'm going to do with that. I'm thinking for now I could probably take that blanket off the end of the lounge side of the couch. That was there to keep the muddy paw prints off of it. That was always the spot Gibbs would sit on and look out the window.

I've got one or two more posts that I can do about this room. One to show some of the wildlife pieces that sit on the ledge around the room, and the other about that little bench that's sitting in front of the couch.

It looks so comfy and inviting! I think my favorite thing is the set of pretty white wicker chairs. And I think Gibbs really likes it, too.

I see Gibbs peeking above the box! Love the colors and what you've done to the room. Very nice Ann.

You are almost there and I am liking it a lot... each thing you add or change makes it look more homey. I actaully like the gray rug, it looks nice and goes well with the room... now i see why you got the valance, it matches the blanket on the back of the sofa. you done good! can't wait for The Rest Of The Story.

That looks nice and cozy! I can see you will spend a lot of time down there! Are you in a tri-level or quad-level house? I ask because that room looks like the lower level of the house my son used to live in. I always loved the shelf that went around the room.
