Soups on

Soup weather is definitely here. Saturday was cold and dreary. The perfect day for a pot of soup.
I got busy chopping ingredients.

Before I knew it I had a delicious pot of soup all ready to enjoy.
This is sausage potato soup and I found the recipe at skinny spatula. I did make a few changes such as leaving out the red chili flakes and using spinach instead of kale. Here is the link for the recipe

the soup looks delish and you will have several meals out of it. this has given me an idea for IBS soup. thanks. a few adjustments, leave out sausage and onions, i use onion or garlic powder or salt. that is a great picture of the soup. we are at 60 this morning and have started 7 days of low 60's going to mid 70's and this is perfect. my favorite temps. cool to warm. not cold to colder. I am laughing at the talking head s on our local news right now, they have suit coats, turtle necks on and it is only 60. what happens here is women have things they like to wear and its just to hot. when we get a cool spell they drag it all out, even the boots they love. most of the hear boots are a no because of the heat

That does look good! I made a sausage potato soup last week and also substituted spinach for the kale! Mine was creamy though. My husband liked it, me not so much! I prefer one like you made!

Looks delish! Good call on replacing the kale with spinach. I am not a kale fan.

When it's cold it's soup time. Your soup looks fabulous and it will be even better the second time around.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

This sounds and looks delicious. I'm going to print out the recipe. I would make the same changes that you did. I like spinach so much better then kale.
