No that should be out back. That's as far as I traveled for these pictures.
I had shown you last year the progress they made when they put in the pharmacy next to the doctors office. By the way, that still has not opened. Apparently some issue with licensing.
Any way, the big draining system they put in. For whatever reason they are letting the weeds grow all around it. Maybe they are just letting it go because the grass is still too new. I'm not sure.
I took a stroll back there and snapped a few pictures. I'm looking forward to when these grow and create a wall across my back yard.
Tried to snap a picture of the weeds but it wouldn't focus on them.

Those are tall and aggressive looking weeds! But the one with the yellow flowers is pretty...maybe wild mustard.

Your two photos seem to show barley and rapeseed. I love those fields—especially the magnificent yellow of the rapeseed, but the grain is also incredibly beautiful to look at... the way it sways in the wind.

Good morning, Ann! What a beautiful walk, and such lush green scenery. We have planted those same shrubs in our village, and I think it took at least two years before they really started to grow. Even now, they haven't quite reached their full potential. But they create such lovely natural boundaries, almost like living fences. They give you a wonderful sense of privacy and protection in such a natural way. Thank you for taking us along on your lovely walk and for sharing those beautiful blooming flowers.
It will be nice to have a green wall of trees at the end of your garden. Shade, birds, and green all year - they are evergreen, aren't they?

You will have a nice privacy fence, once those evergreens grow tall.
could be they are letting the grass take hold before cutting. My question would be just how is the soil under there? Smooth enough to get a mower over or was it left unsmoothed? But with that said, those trees will help, once they grow which might be awhile. I would opt for several panels of privacy fencing.

The weeds can be pretty but I know from experience (my MANY Whining posts about weeds) they can be so invasive and choke everything else out.
Hope those trees (bushes) grow quickly and all the licensing issues get solved for your sake.

I'm surprised that they haven't opened yet. That is definitely a lot of weeds. Hope they get that all settled soon.
There it sits tied up in govt red tape I bet... maybe they can't afford to pay someone to cut it until they start bringing in money.. Can't wait to see the wall of trees. they use those here too and they are beautiful and work well.
