Daytona

Are you a Nascar fan? If so, did you watch the Daytona 500?
It was on here and I may not have sat through the entire race I did catch some of it.
Duke was right there to catch the action

Commercial is on and Duke's off to grab a cold drink.

So any thoughts on women drivers? Danica Patrick is the first one ever to lead a lap in the Daytona 500 and she finished 8th. Nothing against her but she's not my favorite driver. I don't even know if I really have one. I've always gone with Kasey Kahne since that's Wade's

Nope....NASCAR isn't for me at all....but the accident sure made me pee my pants when I saw the photo online. Whoa.

I'd be in the kitchen with Duke getting some kibble and bits. Except it would be during the entire race. LOL

Loved reading your Friends Monday post. I have to agree with her on the texting and phone usage in the car while others are driving.

I didn't get to see much of it but hoped Danica would have pulled it off...

Not a NASCAR fan - but I have been on the race track Speedway in Indianapolis and went around it - does that count?

i did not watch it, but i certainly HEARD it... the man keeps the TV so loud it is like i was in the crowd at daytona. i am thankful for NASCAR, NHRA, football, tennis because even though it is LOUD it IS a baby... I mean Man Sitter...yes i saw the accident, and saw it and saw it and saw it....then i had to watch on rewind the dragster that blew up into a zillion pieces.

It sure looks like Duke enjoyed some Nascar. :) I'm not a huge fan. When I have watched it I wanted Jeff Gordon to win. And I think that Jimmy Johnson is hot!

If I'm gonna watch anything going around in circles very fast for no reason at all, well then I prefer the ponies - (tho at one time I was involved in sprint car racing...don't ask.)

I haven't heard if any "stuff" is hitting the proverbial fan over it yet, but I think James Franco may have stepped plumb in it when he announced, "Drivers...and Danica Patrick, start you engines!

No not a fan of any sports. We have a tough time turning on the television for anything. Just not interested I guess. Women can do whatever they want. If they want to drive race cars then why not.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

We watched it but I sorta lost interest after my driver was in a wreck. I'm impressed that Danica can control that car at those speeds with as little as she is. Plus her car owner is my favorite driver! :)

I can't believe Duke didn't have a racing shirt on.A neighbor and his brother down the road always fly their flags.

Nope not a nascar person. Kind of boring, all they do is go round and around and then crash at the end. But that crash really was something.
Good thought Duke to go get a cold one.

Wow that's a cool truck there on TV...you know me being crazy about cars, but mainly to draw them. Duke seems to be very interested :-)

I did see Danica on the news and thought it pretty cool. My son-in-law drag races his beloved mustang :) Love those fast cars!
