It's going to do a whole lot of this.
So we are going to do a whole lot of hibernating. You think Phil is going to see his shadow today? I googled Punxsutawney Phil and found an article about how accurate he is. I didn't actually read it but if your curious go ahead and see what they have to say about how accurate Phil is

Interesting. so he is not even 50% accurate! Well, I think it is more just for the fanciful historic tradition.
Ha! I think it's just for people who are bored with winter...to fool them in to thinking that spring will be here sooner!! Happy Weekend!
My hubby just left Jersey and passed through PA. on his way up.
He was in snow the entire way back until he got out of Ohio. I think he said Ohio.
He's glad to be headed to Arizona and then home.
Our weather here is going to be in the upper 60's and clear all weekend.
No matter how hard I try I can't make myself stay inside. That's why I am visiting at almost 2:30 in the morning.
I am supposed to be sleeping but wanted to stop by and say hi!
It's gong to be an early spring here. Everything in the woods indicates it.
Birds that have migrated already...pink hues everywhere...my daffodils are coming up...it will b early here!
I hope it gets better for you and Duke!
Oh dear! That's too much snow! Hibernation is the only way through!
It seems, that Phil predicts correctly each and every year...the way I understand it, if he sees his shadow or not, no matter...one way or another, it's still 6 weeks 'til Spring. LOL
Stay warm.
Same here! I'd love to stay indoors, but we've a party to get to tonight. Hope the roads have been gritted by then...
I sure hope you-all won't have much trouble digging out this round. We (here in Springfield) didn't get hit with any of severe storms that passed through the area, but those to the north and south of us did. Not nearly as bad as they got it down in Georgia, but bad enough--especially for January.
Brrrr that looks really cold. Stay warm and buckle up.
Enjoy your weekend.
Eva
Yikes! Hope you and Duke are curled up by a fire!
taking a few days off... brrr for you
That doesn't look appealing to me one bit. Not one bit.
No matter how you slice it we are going to have six more weeks of winter. Period.
Have a terrific day hibernating. My best to Duke. ☺
No snow but it is unnaturally cold here - staying in...Enjoy the cozy...
Phil said that we're going to see an early spring! You know, I am always surprised each year to see that they can manhandle that critter and he doesn't bite. If I was being disturbed like that and hoisted up like a spectacle, then I would be gnawing on a few fingers for good measure, LOL.
We have snow outside our window too this morning. No accumulation yet on the road, but it sure looks pretty on the yards and roofs!
Our "local" groundhog said 6 more weeks...but, heck, what does he (?) know...it's Chuckles' first time on the job!!!...:)JP
Hi Ann, Snowing here again today (snowed yesterday morning too)... For us--this is our first taste of winter... Personally (you know me) I love it.... But--we only have about 3 inches...
My spring flowers which are sprouting think that it's going to be an early spring--but who knows?????
Hugs,
Betsy
I do think I`d hibernate too!
No more winter!!!!!! Yeah...
That gave me the shivers! I'd be hibernating too! I sure hope Phil is right this year and spring comes early!
I have no idea who 'Phil' is but I would be with you on the hibernating if it looked like that out of my window!!
We have no white stuff though so I guess I have no excuse not to be getting on with things. Maybe I could hibernate in sympathy with you Ann.
