Just like the changes that were made to today's photo, there are going to be a couple changes here.
You won't see anything too dramatic and for some you may not see anything at all.
The first change is my brand spanking new badge in the sidebar. Yep, that's right. I am a virtual volunteer for Epic Farms. I was thrilled to death when Jen emailed me and ask if I could do some editing for her. Why wouldn't I take an excuse to play with my photoshop elements. If you don't know Jen you must visit her blog Equine Epiphanies as well as the Epic Farms website.
Another change around here is that I am no longer going to be responding to your comments in the comment section. In a lame effort to try and squeeze just a few more minutes out of each day I've decided to respond directly through email. Now of course if you don't have your email address visible and your comment comes through as (no reply) I won't be able to do that. It doesn't mean I appreciate what you have to say any less. I love all your comments.
I have a few other ideas floating around in my head but until they land somewhere I'm going to leave them alone. All I can say is that with me, Anniething's possible.

I love the photo! Is has so much character. It's great that you are a virtual volunteer for Epic Farms - I've just had a look at their web site.
I like changes, Ann.... Keeps me on my toes... I don't blame you for not commenting on your own blog when people stop and comment. Most of us don't have time to revisit the blog anyhow... I for one do NOT.... I do like the personal emails. Those are special...
Hugs,
Betsy
It's always a challenge to juggle blog interactions with real life. Email sounds nice. I don't think that shows up with blogger though, does it?
Those all sound like good changes to me. I like the email too and that's great you are helping Epic Farms! That photo is really great too.
Sounds like a wonderful plan ~ love your photo Ann!

Congratulations on being picked as editor!! I can't wait to see what else you'll be changing.
I did notice the Epic Farms "badge" yesterday. I read that blog so I wondered what was up. I haven't a clue if my email address shows up when you click my name... I shall have to check that out.
I love today's photo...someday I'm going to learn all about photos and textures.
Now I'm off to visit Epic Farms.
I will miss not seeing you reply to my comments...I have no idea if my e-mail is there or not but I guess i will find out....though I;m not entirely sure how this will save time...if you are responding to comments through e-mail isn't that going to take longer than reading them here and then just writing your response?? Oh well...I guess there is the chance I will never know!!
Love the photo! You're a real pro at PS!
And congrats on getting the editing job on Epic Farms website!
Dear Ann,
Beautiful photo.
I can understand your changes about commenting. You have been unusally good about responding to comments.
Thank you for commenting on my Etsy Treasuries. You are often the only one who leaves a comment at all on these posts that have to do with my blog's main area - jewellery-making.
I really appreciate your thoughtfullness and encouragement.
Best wishes & hugs,
Anna
I realize that my main function here is to smart-off something to help balance all of oohing and aahing in the other comments, but that really is a great picture. So, I must capitulate. OOH! AAH!
Lovin' that bench and rustic overlay. You have already proven yourself a fabulous asset to our little group of volunteers, and you have to know that I was thrilled right along with you when you accepted ;o)
Nice badge, by the way *grin*.
Go for it Ann. We love changes.Love that widget, it looks great. I'll have to check them out.
Changes are always good. We visit the Epic Farms quite often. That is so nice of you to help them out.
I don't make comments in the comment section of my blog either. I usually just reply on their own blog. Hope you have a terrific Sunday.
anniething is good for me, I will gladly read your emails. i wish everyone had their email on their site, but if wishes were horses all beggars would ride. email on anniething. i will check out the horse blog, and good for you since you love photo shop. blogging is really time consuming and requires hours and hours of comment time commitment, since you work that takes a big chunk of your time. i am retired and it still takes a lot of time. just glad you are not leaving us since your post title scared me
The pic looks like its on canvas
Congrats on your new 'job' w/ Jen - fun! I look to email from Annie and Duke ;)
that's a great example of how a texture can really make a photo sing! congrats on the new assignment too!
Has Duke approved all of these changes???
Yeah, I agree with you Ann...answering a bunch of comments that all say the same thing gets a little hard to do. I try to answer all though but if it's busy at work or here...difficult! Now if some has a question, I just click on their link and answer it on Their blog...I hate asking something and no one gets back to you...you only ask because you need an answer. I find that photographers are the Best at answering my foolish questions....
Don't worry about answering my comments sweetie...that's just what they are...acknowledgements that I read your post and I care about you. But if I have a question and you don't answer me...Now That's Butt Kicking Time!!!Hahaaaaa
Love you sweetie! Go Rest!

Great photo, very nice.
I wondered about comments too--do people really go back and read them? Do they require a response all the time? I like them because I like to acknowledge the people who visit me. Like we are having a conversation of sorts.
I read the return comments and I also read the answers to some of the readers questions--like the one about time-saving with email responses versus comment responses. Don't they take the same amount of time and effort?
I'll be curious to see what you find. Oh--I love the photo today! :)
miss ann,
yuppers, it gets pretty crazy go nuts tryin' to keep up with everybuddy, especially since you are so popular like! :) i think it's a good idea to reply with bark mail, though, cuz it's way easier than tryin' to load up a bloggie, especially if you are tryin' to use your smart phone!!
i always like when you make your pics look super old 'n stuff! and gratsers on bein' a virtual volunteer for epic farms! go you!
*woof*
the booker man
I like your changes too!
And I agree - I like comments via email - who goes back to read the comments? Hope mine has my email.
Ann, changes are always good and I love the look and feel of that photo. It has an artistic yet rustic flair. Responding to comments, especially with all the comments you receive must be so time consuming. I like your new idea.
I have been doing the same thing, off and on. I just don't have the time that I used to have. I am so swamped with the girls' school work, that I find I have very little time for anything else.
Hopefully, I'll be able to start posting articles more often :)
Have a great week!
