I've seen quite a few of you doing the barn charm posts and I thought I would do one of my own. I do love barns no matter what they look like and we have plenty of them in the area. One of these days I should head out with the intentions of doing nothing other than capturing barns
Now this isn't the whole barn since that would be impossible considering that part of it is missing any way. I liked the scene though.
A little texture to grunge it up a bit.
And maybe a bit of a painterly look to finish it off
In my travels yesterday I had the good fortune to not have anyone driving behind me. I stopped a couple times right in the middle of the road and a couple more times I pulled off to the side. I'll have more barns coming up.

I love the effects! Very charming :)
What a lovely texture you added to that old barn, it's just perfect. Have a great Saturday!
Love these...Boy, if only they could talk!
Happy weekend!

You turn your photos into art work. I would frame and hang the painterly piece proudly in my home. It's gorgeous!
I like the first one - but then you know I am a literalist...
I love old barns, especially if they belong to someone else. I was raised on a dairy farm. You did a great capture here.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
I'm loving the barn charm! I live in barn charm county! I love to drive around and photograph the farms and barns around my house. I even come across several on my walks near my home.
When I first got my camera I liked to take nature and animal pictures. These days I'm more into photographing architecture, barns, bridges, farms, and especially old turn of the century buildings.
I also love your photo editing.
Love your barn!!! Makes me want to run out and take some pictures of the barns around us :-)
Hugs, antonella :-)
That IS a great scene--made even better by your effects. Can't wait to see what else you find!
Be careful you don't get run over!!!
I like all the overgrowth. You should ride with me, I stop and pull off the road a lot.
I love old barns too! In college back in Kansas I took a photography class where we had to go out and take photos of barns and old houses. I didn't stop at just taking the photos, I explored inside and found so many treasures from days way long past. If walls could talk!
Right up my alley. I love barns because they give me a comfortable and peaceful feeling which you have captured so well in all three shots. I love this post.
I wish that was my barn. The effects you have made are very good. My favourite is the painterly effect, even though technology like that could do me out of a job!
Nice edits! We don't see a lot of barns these days, but we saw them all the time when we lived in Iowa.
I love what you did with your barn photo! sandie
WONDERFUL! Oh, if Wade gets to feeling ambitious, you might talk to him about making picture frames and decoupage backings out of old barn boards.
I love barns! Although some of them can be a little creepy. Haha I have a vivid imagination.
Just fabulous Ann! I envy you being able to stop in the middle of the road because no one is behind you! :)
