And another thing

I guess since I told you earlier in the week that I had made two little projects last Sunday, I could show you the other one.
I saw a tutorial for a needle book and I happen to need one since needles always end up all over the place and I can never find one when I need one.
Now mind you, hers is way fancier than mine and I didn't totally follow the tutorial. I looked at the pictures, read the measurements and then just threw this together really quick. It was getting a bit late and I just wanted to finish it.

Oh look how neatly I lined up my needles....NOT.I didn't even get the inside pages put in there very evenly. They are a little too close to the bottom but really, who cares.

I have a few other projects in the works, maybe I'll finish them this weekend or at least get the closer to being finished.

You are so industrious, so many things made...
I love the needle case.
My needles are all over the place, some in the pin cushion, some loose in a drawer and who knows where. lol
When I get around to it I'd like to have a go at making one of them.
I tidy my work room and know were everything is but I'm a real messy worker as I like to work quickly and so it all goes up the creek in a very short time. lol
Enjoy your weekend, its cold here...

Hey, you have made yourself a neat new place to keep your needles!! Very cool!! I have needles all over the place too...perhaps I should think about making myself one of those!! Happy Saturday!!

looks great to me, and is much better than a pin cushion. i have a pin cushion in my sewing basket and they fall out just sitting there. of course i only touch the sewing basket to move it so i can reach what is under it in the closet. i keep it for when buttons fall off.

How cute. Just so you know...I don't have any needles. I know you're not surprised about this.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

you actually sewed a thingy to keep sewing needles in...that amazes me. But then again I am the person whose sewing kit is in a plastic sandwich bag. Where that sandwich bag is - not quite sure!

Maybe 20 years ago, or longer, I bought this round plastic thingy that had lots of different sized needles in compartments and you just move the outside part of the thingy to the size needle you wanted - and shook out the needle and then you could just slide the needle back in when you were finished with it.

Just thought I had better stop by and say hello. I have been a bit busy with projects myself lately.
How about this for another project, a book cover for a real book. No it wouldn't work. Too many different sizes. I don't think things through!

The past does save a lot of memories, but that's no reason tuk not go forward.

I hope the benefits can be received and I wait behind the visit: D

That is a cute needle holder! Good job. Mine is a pot holder folded in half with a button closer. It was made as a party favor for our quilt group party.

When I told Arlynda about your trouble with losing needles, she said that she should send me up to find them for you by sitting down in various places around your house. Sigh.

I have a needle book of my great-grandmother's. I don't use it, but I do treasure it.
