A day off just to have a day off is always a good thing.

this is PERFECT... and that quote about finishing applies to every one from birth to death.. sorry you are still laboring and hope you don't have to labor today but am thinking you do

When you are retired there are no days off - Monday is laundry day regardless.

I'm retired and it rocks. Hubby and I are on the same page and we do stuff when we want and if we don't we just don't it whatever it is until we want to. It works for us.

I sure wish I was retired because I can get used to these days off very easily! By the way, I saw your comment on Sandee's blog and agree that you need a kitty!
I'm only working because I have to. College costs and helping the kids with loans...that's why I do it. Oh...and it keeps me outta trouble...or so Joe says. :)
