More from Saturday
To start with this is the road that leads to the park I went to
The name of the park
I spotted a very steep hill with a worn path. I climbed to the top to see what I could see.
What goes up, must come down. As I started down the hill I questioned whether or not that had been a smart idea. Thankfully I didn't fall. Would I do it again? Probably but next time I wouldn't be wearing flip flops.
These just caught my eye.

the road is beautiful! then a river...or lake? Glad you are O.K. We sure do reckless things for our blog followers!!
What a beautiful park! Those little bellis are pretty!
Good Morning, Such a pretty place to visit. Thanks for sharing the photos.
I stopped wearing flip-flops because at my age they become a hazard I still wear sandals but not the ones that go between the toes and go flip flops up flop. Glad you were okay and didn't fall down the hill. It was a beautiful view from the top did you see any raccoons
Flip flops aren't the best hiking shoes, LOL. I used to carry a pair of old tennies in the trunk of my car, don't anymore, but it is a good idea. Sometimes you even have to walk out of necessity. I love that tree lines road to the park and that lone tree hanging onto the shoreline. Looks like you are getting out and enjoying your summer. Good for you!
I don't usually wear flip flops... the only one pair I do have are platform so there can be no climbing or I'd have been in the lake for sure! haha
Those pretty little wild flowers are so sweet.
Wearing the right shoes is really important. I found that out a couple of weekends ago. Ouch.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Just my kind of post. I love it. And the name of the park is great.
Hiking in flip-flops? Ambitious....
Climbing? In flip flops? Whoa!!!!
Pretty scene at the top tho, and neat wildflowers!!!!
What a pretty place to be! At least with flip flops you can kick them off easily and stick your toes in the water!
I was hoping you would have run across Rocky Raccoon ... now that stupid song will be in my head for a week!
I love the road pic! And the name of the park. It looks so quiet and serene.
