Saturdays are typically my shopping day. I don't necessarily like to shop any more but sometimes I have to. Now if it was a spend all you want on unnescessary craft supplies I would show much more enthusiasm. That wasn't the case here though.
Saturday morning I look out the window and I see this.
Still plenty of snow on the ground but at least the roads are clear. Then I pulled out my phone and checked the temperature.
8 degrees, really? So I procrastinate for a while and consider skipping the whole shopping trip altogether. Then Gibbs looks at me and I remember he ate the last of his dog food the night before and Wade has given him the last of his dog biscuits. So it's either I need to bundle up, defrost the windshield in my vehicle and head out OR I could cook him a burger and wait for another day. I went to the store. SIGH. It did warm up to 25 by the time I was heading back home

Frigid! I hope Gibbs knows how much he is loved! Grocery shopping isn't near as fun for me since my diet.
Ugh...that is just too cold. Glad it warmed up a little!
the coldest temp i have ever been in is 16 and that was only a few times in my life. i am shivering looking at your phone. I know Gibbs appreciates your shopping trip. we don't have snow flakes for me to drive through but we have snowbird flakes on our roads that make shopping PHUN.... even at 6;30 am WM was jammed with people.
Do you have another phone to take a pic of your phone LOL The cold is not amusing, winter just weights you down, and I'm not talking about all the heavy clothes...
I've heard a lot of states are having snow STILL. Ughhhh!! Usually here in northern Indiana we're one of the last folks to get rid of their winter snow, but not this year. Thank goodness! I mentally can't take spring snow this year, for whatever reason. On the dog food topic, have you ever considered auto-delivery of dog food through Amazon or Chewy? That would take care of your "having to go out for dog food & treats" problem. Just a thought. Lovingly, Andrea xxx
We can't let our babies down and you didn't. Good for you. If you weren't so tired you could have done this on Friday, however after working all day it's the last thing you want to do.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Way to go on getting out of the house!
I am right there with you Ann! I am SO tired of this stuff, I could scream! There are many days when I just stay IN. In fact, I may have opted to give him the Burger! :)
I am so sorry you are still dealing with WINTER yesterday while we were at 77 and sunshine. And at 8 degrees....I would have probably stayed in. Now to reply to your quesiton about oils in the capsules .....you pull the capsule apart, and just drip the drops in. The opening of the bottle is a small hole so it don't pour out!
I know spring has to arrive sooner or later ... but I'm sure hoping sooner!
We've had a cold front here as well. It is freezing and I hate going out, but needs must...
Wow- we didn't get that cold.
