Chatty

Yesterday while I was at work I got a text message from my sister in law. I told her I was at work but would call her when I got home. Shortly after 1:00 pm I gave her a ring. I was on the phone until after 6:00 pm. We haven't talked like that in years. I couldn't believe we had been on the phone that long. Needless to say, after I got off the phone I didn't have much time left to get to the emails and blog reading.  I obviously didn't get around to doing much of a blog post either. It was really nice catching up with her again though.

5 hours on the phone? That's incredible - I cannot even imagine but - your sister-in-law reaching out? Sounds like a good thing.

You know I used to love to be on the phone sharing and gabbing but not so much these days...sounds like you both probably needed that. As for the red birds in your yard, I would lean to Wade since you just lost him. Probably is way of saying he is good and you need you need to find your "good" place.....

That's a long time indeed. I'm sure it was a good thing too or you wouldn't have been on the phone that long. Letting stuff out is a good thing. For the both of you. I hope you both stay in touch.

Have a blessed day, my friend. Big healing hugs to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

You have more ear and hand/wrist/elbow stamina than I. :)

Sounds like it was good for both of you to touch base. I hope you have more calls in the future!

Five hours!! Your elbow must be hurting today! Does she live very far away?

Sounds like a great conversation and glad you had that.

I'm so glad that you both had time to talk, I'm sure it was needed and gave you both a chance to reflect on memories and look toward the future.
You are in my prayers, sweet friend.
Connie :)

Conversations where the time gets away from you are the best!

That is wonderful, nothing better than a great phone call. I certainly don't do much of that these days and it is definitely a great way to connect with family.

I don't spend any time chatting on the phone anymore...not since everything is done electronically these days! I'm so glad that the two of you had time to catch up! It's good for the soul!
