Yesterday she gets to work and said she forgot it but if I'll give her a ride home after work (which I normally do on Thursday any way) she'll give me the bottle of wine.
Fast forward to last evening. I was ready to settle in and though OOH, I'm going to have a glass of wine. I pull the bottle out of the fridge only to discover that it has a cork and I have no corkscrew.
The wicked winery label should have been my first clue.

No I won't buy one. My duaghter has one so I'll borrow hers. I could have gone over and got hers last night but I didn't feel like it.

oh my, be careful, don't drive after you taste it.. we have nothing and not even the swiss knife. waiting to hear how it taste
I've been in that pickle a time or two. Bugger. Oh well you'll get that bottle open at some point.

What?! no corkscrew?? Damn...we've got them everywhere for wine emergencies just like these. I even have one in my car! I hope you get it open and can enjoy it.

Murphy's Law! - I'm not much of a Wine Drinker although I think I might enjoy the fruity type wines.
