TGIF

I can't tell you how happy I am that today is Friday. Even if it's another day like yesterday was, at least I have tomorrow off.

Yesterday was one of those days where everyone and everything just annoyed me. As the day went on I just got more annoyed. There was absolutely no reason for it, it's just the way it was. It was nice to get home where it was just me and Gibbs. That is until he started barking at everything that moved outside. There is a kid who rides up and down the street on his bike and every time he goes by Gibbs barks at him. Then there is the rabbit who I'm pretty sure is teasing Gibbs. The other day Gibbs started going crazy, barking non stop. I looked out the window and there in the front yard about 6 feet away from the house was a rabbit. He was totally oblivious to the maniacal barking and sat joyfully eating grass.

He's lucky he's cute because that barking of his drives me nuts.

Laughing here...Mama Squirrel used to sit across the fence three feet away from one of our dogs just to drive her nuts. When this dog moved out to live with her 'mom', mama squirrel would then walk up to our other dog and smell her feet...cause she knew she would not be hurt.

All of that is sure enough to get on your nerves. Looks like you may have a rabbit tunnel close! Cute can get away with a lot.

I've been there many times Ann. Some days things can just float by and others they grate. I even get annoyed with the cats on bad days so don't beat yourself up about getting annoyed with Gibbs. I'm sure in time you will settle.

I hate those days when the world is just wonky...or its just me that's wonky. Either way, I think you just have to identify it and work around it. I don't mean "get over it"...I think I just accept that I'm at zero tolerance and I check myself with every action or word that comes out of me.

I have been in a lot of pain with my knee scope recovery, so my tolerance for crap has been ZERO x 50. Don't mess with me or I'm snapping. At least I know I'm beastly and I give fair warning. After that...you deserve it if you mess with me. Hahaha!

I hope today is a better day.

Yes tomorrow is a day off and those were always welcome when I was working. I hear you about the barking too. I so remember that.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of lovies and scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Sorry about your day. Yes those bunnies are pretty smart and are good at teasing the pups. Enjoy your day off.

That's too bad about the barking! Some days it's hard enough to hang in there until we can go home and escape. :(

We had a dog for years that barked at everything... leaves blowing down the street... the thought of someone walking two blocks away... us when we came home no matter how quick we'd get in the door. His friend, Rev, who we still have (an old slow boy now) only really barked at the mailman and actually chewed wood off an old french door trying to get at him.
Nice to sweet Gibb's sweet face again! Hope you enjoyed your day off yesterday.
