When I got home from work I snapped a couple cell phone pictures out the front window. The view isn't anything exciting but if you like snow it's got that.
This one of the poor hydrangea covered in a chilly blanket of snow looks more like a black and white shot.
I saw on my phone that there is a winter storm warning in effect until this afternoon. I just hope it doesn't dump too much more snow on us.

We had a few flurries here. I hope you are done with it for now.
Hi Ann the snow looks so pretty,we don't get snow like that here,Thankyou for showing us xx
So far we have been snow free . . . Hallelujah, because I'm not excited about Winter weather driving.
That seems early to me for snow but maybe where you are its normal. We are lucky if we see any at all and get quite excited if we get a dusting. lol

Keep that white stuff up north please.
"It's beginning to look a lot like ....." ^^ I hope you don't get too much snow - as pretty as it looks it's a nuisance to shovel and drive in - take care out there.
Looks like we got about the same amount...it is 9 here this morn.
according to the news on our tv you have a lot more than this today and cold temps, record breaking. our record breaking temp is 57, these are January temps here and THEY said you are having Jan temps before TG as is the whole north east. the snow is pretty but in photos only. hope there is not to much to drive through to get to work today
So sorry about the S.N.O.W so early - (Yes, the word "snow" is really an acronym for Sh*t No One Wants...)
It's here too. It stresses me out because it feels like Christmas and I'm not ready!
I'm hearing a lot about snow this morning from all over the place. I hope you don't get anymore.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Stay warm and a big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Ginny, we didn't get any more today but I know this is just the beginning of a very long winter
Sheryl, it does look pretty but I hate having to go out in it
Briony We've had it as early as mid October in the past
Anni darn, and I was going to send you some
Grace OMG, I love that acronym. Perfect.
Lin I'm not ready for Christmas either but then again I never am
Sandee, Tis the season to talk about snow...lol
It dos look nippy to say the least and I would hate to be that Hydrangea...BRRRRRR...:)jp
I love that first picture, it's warm and unassuming and touches my heart. Snow does perform miracles when we are safe and cozy and don't have to go out it it!
isn't it a bit early for snow?
of course, I have no idea...living in a part of the world, where snow isn't a feature. However towards the bottom end of the South Island here, it's spring and there have been quite a few days of snow down there - I'm in upper half of North Island
Cheerfulmonk thanks. I love being able to stay inside and watch it snow through the window but the minute I have to go out in it I hate it
Catherine, this is just about the right time for snow. We've had it in October before too. I wouldn't mind living somewhere that it didn't snow
Beautiful! I am the snow lover. :) We were supposed to get some too but all it did was rain a bit.
Wow...pretty.
Reeni, the older I get the more I hate snow.
Pam it's only pretty when you can stay inside and only see it through a window. Once I have to go out in it, shovel it, drive in it, it loses all it's charm
Wow! It does look pretty.
