Mug press

You might recall a while back I was talking about wanting to get a Cricut mug press. My dilemma was the cost. I couldn't see spending all that money on something that I may not use all that much. And yet, I still obsessed over it. One day while visiting my Amazon shopping cart and seeing all of the wonderful items that were there I noticed the offer for the Amazon Prime Visa card. I could order all the items in my cart and get $150 cash back if I applied for the Visa card. Call me crazy but I went ahead and did it and instead of paying $230 plus tax I ended up paying $85. The hardest part about all of this was that I didn't get the 2-day shipping on all the items and it took quite a while for all of it to finally arrive.
Once I received enough items that I could finally try and make a mug, I was too scared start. I didn't want to make a mistake which is what keeps me from doing things a lot of the time. Well, guess what happened on my first attempt? You guessed it I screwed up

You can't really tell by looking at the above pictures but the problem was I picked a design that was l little too complex. It was difficult to weed and I ended up messing it up. That didn't stop me though I gave it another try. Come back tomorrow to see the first mug that I did

Everyone makes mistakes, and if they say they don't, they are not speaking the truth. My mom always said the only people that did not make mistakes were people who had not done anything.

What a great idea I got my camera that way Years Ago by getting the Amazon card and I'm really happy that I got the Amazon card because guess what if you spend everything on that card from now on you get money back every time I have $38 credit right now just from ordering the toaster oven. Mine is set up to just go on the Amazon card whenever I click by now and over the time most of the time I have anywhere from 11 to $20 to spend and I could let it Stack Up. Can't wait to see the cup. And of course you screwed up we all screw up when we get something new I don't show the screw-ups playing with PicMonkey or any of the stuff that I do I did of course show you the screw-up of turning the wrong burner on haha. Now you can buy two cups are 4 cups and print things on them and give them as gifts

Oooo - Fun! Are these mugs going to be usable or just for decoration? I've "made" mugs on Zazzle and other sites and quite frankly I would never use them because the quality of the mug itself was terrible so they became just keepsakes (for lack of a better word).

Glad you were able to get it for a great deal. I applied for that card to do my Christmas shopping last year and also did the free prime trial at the same time. I can't wait to see the first mug!

Every time I go onto Amazon I'm tempted to get their credit card. It's a good way to get something you want for little or no cost! I've yet to get one though. I know myself enough to know that I would be buying all sorts of stuff I don't need!

How fun and what a deal you got. That is the best part. I know you'll have fun with this and they make such great gifts too. Personalized cups are the best.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Anni, yeah it was much easier to hit that buy now button when it cut the price by more than half

Grace, yes they are usable and microwave and dishwasher safe. The quality of the mugs seem ok.

Sandee, I love a deal. I'm cheap so giving me over half off was a winner for me.

CheerfulMonk, aww, thanks.

use it and then make sure when folks come over, give them their drink it in - make them work at working out what the mug says. Or if that's too much store y our pens/pencils in it...

and it was good learn the very first try what can go wrong...
