Ginny asked if it was a tree or a bush. Well the above picture is part of this tree.
The last couple years this tree hasn't been looking so good. It has several dead branches and doesn't seem to get as many leaves as it used to. I really hate to have it taken down but I'm afraid I might have to.

Maybe you could just have the dead branches cut off. I love the shade of green.
That is sad it's such a beautiful flowering tree is not doing well. I thought it was some kind of bush like a hydrangea when I saw the picture the other day I had no idea it was a tree
I, too, wandered what it was.
What a shame! Hope it perks up & survives.
Maybe it if was trimmed it would revive a bit?
Our tree out front is getting green leaves. It's fun to watch its progress each day. I hope you find another solution to save this beautiful tree.
Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Enjoy your day off. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
It sure has beautiful flowers! I hope it stays healthy!
I like what Ginny said...maybe it just needs professionally trimmed!
We have a half-dead pear tree in our front yard and I think the same thing about her... will I have to take her down this year? But then she blooms her little heart out, in spring, and I think "How can I deprive such a tree of its life, when she has such an indomitable spirit?" :) ~Andrea xoxo
It would be sad to have to get rid of it. It looks pretty right now!
Is there any sign of disease, Ann? It is really beautiful and perhaps just some pruning could help...jp
I hope it can survive.
