when my world turns green

I just love this time of year when the world starts coming back to life again. I see signs of spring and it makes my heart happy. What makes me even happier is when everything turns green.

Things are getting greener and greener every day. I'm probably going to have to pull the mower out soon. That doesn't make me happy. I'm thinking I might have to get someone to mow for me because I don't think I can handle doing it all myself any more.

love the GREEN and you have a really big yard, I know I could not do it. I might manage our tiny front yard, but maybe not.. we have 3 neighbors that said to heck with it and the grass/weeds are calf high. there is your OPTION...

Spring is such a wonderful season and signals hope. Sadly, we're supposed to get another spring snowstorm early next week - oh well, the growers say they need more moisture . . . be careful what you wish for. Have a good weekend Ann! We're off to the cabin for the day with a car load of manure, compost and soil for the gardens - we're going to be ready when the snowstorms finally quit. lol

There comes a point when it becomes an economical decision on getting a service. You have to weigh in the value of your time and physical cost of mowing, bagging and hauling the bags to the curb. I bet you can get a lawn service that will also plow for you in the winter for a relatively low cost. I hope so. You work so darn hard, Ann!

Yes, I feel the same way, Ann... all the green outside makes me happy too. I don't blame you for needing to have some help with the mowing!! I often think about what I'd do if hubby wasn't here anymore and I still lived on this land. I determined I would probably mow a section of the yard a day... and by the time I got the whole thing done, it would be time to start over again. *sigh* This would translate into me getting a smaller place, no doubt. ~Andrea xoxo

My friend and I were just talking this morning about how everything is turning green again! My little azalea and my lilac bushes I planted last summer are starting to grow again, which makes me feel good because you never know how newly planted bushes will fair over the winter!

Is the first one a tree or a bush? I love the pale citrus color and frilly look of it.

We noticed how much greener the forest was today when we hiked! I love this time of year.

I love my lawn care service, not particularly the chap - but he does a great job. I gave it all up when my cord wouldn't reach all the way up to the road, a small strip of weeds beside the concrete driveway - and then I realised the yard wasn't even and I had to be careful about falling. I'm not going to fix the landlords' yard!
