Putting it back together part 2

The next step in putting my basement living space back together was to do something with the windows. The curtains that were there were ones that I had made for Wade when he first did the man cave. This is what they look like. 
I made the decision to replace them with mini blinds and valances. I went in search of something I liked. At first I found some black and white buffalo check balances and put them in my shopping cart. I accidentally deleted them from my shopping cart and couldn't find them again so the search continued. Here's what I settled on at first I wasn't sure I was going to like them but once I got them up I quickly changed my mind. Stay tuned for part 3 coming up tomorrow

you Go Girl! can't wait to see the rest of this story.. i do have a question, how far away is the TV? it looks really far, but could be perspective. i have to be less than 10 feet to see the screen... I had a feeling buffalo checks would somewhere appear. I know how much you love them... are you shopping by online?

are the steps into upstaris by the TV? and is there a door to the outside?
