Here's another card that I recently made. This is a slimline card. It fits into a #10 business size envelope.
The standard size for these cards is 3.5" x 8.5" but I have been making them just a tad bigger at 4" x 9.25" so that they fill the entire envelope with very little gap. I guess I just like to do things my way.
I love the bee and the butterfly, and th sharp stripes and polka dots! What an awesome idea, to make cards that fit in business envelopes! One thing that has always annoyed me is...if you lose the envelope to a card, it is practically impossible to replac it with one the same size.
I really like this card and I like the idea. I'm with Jenny on the envelopes not fitting! I really like the word happy on this the way it's written the word actually looks happy and makes me feel that way. The message is perfect
I always love your cards, Ann. I think you could make a cottage business out of making them, if you wanted to.
I ran to the grocery store this past Saturday, for a couple coffee cakes for youngest daughter to take to "game night" at her brother's house (for breakfast the next day), and it never fails now... I ALWAYS-ALWAYS-ALWAYS think of you whenever I go into our local Mom & Pop grocery store & go back to the bakery department. And I smile. :-) ~Andrea xoxoxo
I've made things to fit that sized envelope before, small handmade notebooks which the buyer wanted for Christmas gifts...I've still got some, which I use.

A fabulous idea to fit them to a #10 envelope. I love your cards. You're most talented.
Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
That is cute. I like those that fit right in reg envs so that you don't have to buy special envs.
Another beautiful card, you amaze me!
The card is adorable.
I agree with Ginny about the word happy. It does lift my spirits!

I love the card. You absolutely should do things your way! Why not?
Nice card. Slimline cards are very popular. I like to make mine the same size that you do. - Love the little butterfly and bug.
