The painting on the wall

This painting is currently hanging on the one wall in my new cozy space.
I'm not real crazy about it but have yet to replace it. It does have a story to go with it. Wade hated  shopping of any kind and one day I asked him if we could go into the thrift shop. He reluctantly agreed and we headed to the door. As I was getting ready to go inside he lingered behind and I assumed that he just didn't want to go in. I ended up saying never mind forget it I'll just come back later by myself. That was when he told me that he was just admiring this picture because he really liked it. I wasn't quite sure if I believed him because it sounded like a convenient excuse. So I said if you like it go ahead and buy it. I was surprised when he picked it up and took it inside to purchase. Will I replace it? Maybe, that is yet to be seen.

Gosh, this would be a hard decision, seeing the memory you have of it.

With the sentimental connection, it'd be a difficult choice, one way or another. The scene is quite fitting for the room decor.

you already know i have not one sentimental gene in my body, if you don't love it, trade it in at a thrift store. most of your followers will say the sentimenatl thing. you will do what i do, what ever YOU want to do. go for it

I think it's pretty and very fitting for the room, but of course it's your Ann cave. Let us know what you decide. Have a great weekend!

Don't get rid of memories too soon . . . anyway I think it goes very well with the woodland items on the shelf, even the frame around the electric plug.

That's a hard one...fortunately there's no hurry. Maybe wait until another picture speaks to you.

Ann, I'm sure when the time is right, you will know what to do...if you plan on revamping the shelves, then maybe that is the time... Interesting though that Wade didn't care for thrift stores, I had a man like that once in my life, she couldn't abide anything secondhand until one day we were passing a shop and on the pavement outside was a secondhand lounge suite he insisted we get! I liked the colour but I hated the seat/s they made you sit upright...

Nice story. Maybe one of his kids would want it.

Brings back a good memory so I can understand your hesitation. Well, now you have a picture of it to remember that story by!

It is a loving picture. Did you plan on making your space more girly?
